Do You Avoid Change?

I think even the most flexible of us sometimes try to avoid change. And then sometimes you need a smack in the head to remind you that if you want to see new habits – whether its eating healthy or exercising or spending less time feeling overwhelmed – you have to embrace some change.

This weekend I spent 3 days with some amazing creative entrepreneurs. Each with their own style, business, success and personality. It was amazing! I don’t think I could have found a more supportive group of ladies. And the creators who led our discussions and shared their wisdom were truly wonderful. I felt a roller coaster of emotions as we learned from some of the best in the business about how to take our “babies”, our businesses, to the next level. They didn’t let us make excuses, but instead dared us to be greater, to think bigger and to challenge ourselves to be the thing we would be if we could not fail.

Right now I’m sitting in my hotel room processing what I learned and planning out the ways I’m going to “go pro” this year. Some things you will see first hand on my website or on my social media. However, other things will be behind the scenes changes. I will try to share some of these changes as well.

One of the things I was working on before I left for this retreat was bringing my website, blog, store, and other offerings under one “roof”, one site and making it my online home. I am slowly getting that figured out and hope to be announcing the updated site in the next few weeks. In anticipation of that change, I’d like to invite you to join my mailing list to keep up with that change. There will not be an RSS feed, like the one you are getting now. You will still get my blog updates in your email, but it will be through this email list.

I hope you’ll join me on this journey! I am excited, scared to death and hopeful that the changes I want to make will be the game changers I want them to be.
